On August 15, 2026, IndiaFutureAI celebrated the Graduation Day of its AI Creator Fellowship at Kunzum, Greater Kailash II, New Delhi.
Organized by IndiaFutureAI alongside Education Partner CSEWhy and Official Media Partner StartupNews.fyi, the ceremony recognized participants from over 50 cities and towns who successfully transformed theoretical knowledge into tangible digital assets, visual storytelling projects, and functional websites.
The occasion marked an important milestone for a fellowship community of 200+ learners from more than 50 cities and towns across India. While 18 graduating fellows attended the ceremony in person and received their certificates, the celebration represented the journey of an entire community of learners who spent the fellowship learning, experimenting, building, and discovering what they could create with artificial intelligence.
The event was organised by IndiaFutureAI, with CSEWhy as the Education Partner and StartupNews.fyi as the Official Media Partner.

More Than Learning Tools — Learning to Create
The AI Creator Fellowship was built around a simple idea: AI education should not stop at learning how a tool works. It should help people actually build with it.
Many fellows entered the programme with little or no technical background. Several came from UPSC and competitive-examination backgrounds, bringing with them strong capabilities in research, writing, critical thinking, communication, and disciplined learning.
The fellowship gave them an opportunity to combine those existing strengths with practical AI capabilities.
Through a learn-build-implement approach, fellows worked on real assignments and developed tangible projects across areas such as:
- AI-powered videos and visual content
- Websites and professional portfolios
- Research and content workflows
- Digital communication projects
- Creator-led projects and problem-solving assignments
- Practical work that could serve as proof of capability for employers and clients
The goal was not simply to finish a curriculum. It was to help learners move from consuming information to creating with it — and from having knowledge privately to demonstrating their capabilities publicly.
From Competitive-Exam Aspirants to AI Creators
For many participants, the fellowship represented an opportunity to build a second dimension to their existing aspirations.
Competitive-examination preparation develops valuable skills: the ability to research deeply, analyse information, communicate clearly, work consistently, and solve complex problems.
The challenge is that these capabilities do not always translate into visible professional opportunities.
AI provided a new bridge.
By learning how to use AI for research, content creation, video production, visual storytelling, website development, communication, and productivity, fellows were able to turn existing intellectual strengths into tangible digital work.
This allowed them to explore new possibilities without having to abandon the goals they had already invested years pursuing.

When Families Saw What Their Fellows Could Create
One of the most meaningful parts of the Graduation Day was hearing directly from fellows and the people who had supported them throughout their journey.
During the open-sharing session, participants spoke about their initial uncertainty, the projects they created, and the confidence they gained through practical learning.
One fellow joined the programme without a technology background while also carrying significant responsibilities as a caregiver for her family.
During the fellowship, she learned to create professional videos using AI.
When her family first saw one of her creations, they assumed it had been produced by a professional. They were surprised to learn that she had created it herself.
For us, stories like this capture what practical AI education can make possible.
The transformation is not only technical. It is personal. It can build confidence, creative independence, professional visibility, and the belief that technology is something you can actively use — not something that is only meant for someone else.
Turning Projects into Professional Opportunities
At IndiaFutureAI, we believe that a certificate should be only one part of what a learner takes away from a programme.
The more valuable outcome is proof of work.
That is why the AI Creator Fellowship places strong emphasis on project creation and portfolio development. Fellows are encouraged to build work that can be shared with employers, clients, collaborators, and the wider professional community.
For some participants, these portfolios have already started creating opportunities.
Fellows are receiving individual paid assignments, generating inbound enquiries, and exploring opportunities after potential clients discover their work online. Some projects have also attracted international leads and enquiries.
Alongside these independently generated opportunities, IndiaFutureAI provides access to assignments, interviews, and professional opportunities through its ecosystem and partner networks.
Participants are exploring opportunities across AI-enabled research, content creation, visual communication, digital marketing, video production, and creator workflows.
The larger objective is to make AI learning connected to real-world economic participation.
"The objective of the AI Creator Fellowship is not merely to teach people how to operate AI tools. It is to help them build, create and become professionally visible. When a learner's portfolio begins generating assignments, interviews and opportunities, AI education becomes a pathway to meaningful economic participation."
A Graduation Day on a Significant Day for India's AI Journey
The Graduation Day carried additional significance because it took place on Independence Day, at a time when India's ambitions around artificial intelligence and AI skilling are growing rapidly.
On the same day, the Prime Minister announced a national ambition to train one crore young people in artificial intelligence skills over the following year.
For IndiaFutureAI, the announcement reinforced something we have seen through our own work: the need for AI education that is practical, accessible, and outcome-oriented.
India's AI journey cannot be built only through advanced technology and infrastructure. It also requires people who know how to use these technologies to solve problems, create content, build businesses, improve productivity, and contribute meaningfully to the changing world of work.
Building a Future-Ready India
The AI Creator Fellowship is one part of IndiaFutureAI's larger mission.
To date, IndiaFutureAI has upskilled more than 2,000 Indians and worked with 20+ institutional partners, with learners joining from more than 50 cities and towns across the country.
Our work is expanding beyond direct-to-learner fellowships into institutional and organisational AI initiatives, including:
- AI fellowships for students, aspirants, and young professionals
- AI programmes and certifications for schools, colleges, and institutions
- AI Skill Labs and Centres of Excellence
- Custom AI upskilling programmes for companies and professional communities
- Programmes for women, ITI learners, educators, and government officials
- Placement and project opportunities through industry networks
- AI implementation and automation for startups, institutions, and MSMEs
- Government and public-sector collaborations for scalable AI training
The next cohort of the AI Creator Fellowship is already underway, while conversations around longer-term institutional programmes, AI Skill Labs, and Centres of Excellence continue to grow.
The Journey Continues
Graduation is not the end of the fellowship journey.
It is the point where learning begins to translate into action.
The fellows who stood on stage in New Delhi represented a much larger community of people discovering that they can learn AI, build with AI, and use it to create new possibilities for themselves.
Our vision at IndiaFutureAI is to help more people make that transition:
from uncertainty to capability,
from preparation to creation,
and from learning about the future to actively building it.
The AI Creator Fellowship is only one step in that journey.
As India moves towards becoming a global leader in artificial intelligence, we want to help ensure that its people are not merely consumers of the AI revolution — they are its creators.
